Sulphur Dioxide (SO2)

Sulphur dioxide (cause of acid rain) is an acid gas and can affect health and plant growth. It affects the lining of the nose, throat and airways of the lung, and is a particular concern to asthma and chronic lung disease sufferers. It is released from burning of fossil fuels and industrial plants.
